VANCOUVER, BC (CelebrityAccess) — Rock legend Daryl Hall pulled the plug on his concert in Vancouver mid-show after telling the crowd that he felt too ill to continue.
The veteran performer was just three songs into his performance as part of the PNE Fair’s Summer Night Concert series at the Pacific Coliseum on Wednesday when he sat down at the piano on stage and told the fans that he had to stop and was feeling unwell.
He then left the stage, bringing and end to the concert.
In a statement shared on social media, the singer’s management said that Hall had tested positive for COVID and has since canceled his Friday show at the Albertsons Boise Open in Idaho.
“Daryl feels horrible about having to cancel and would like to thank the many concerned fans for their well wishes,” the statement added.
A rep for PNE told the Vancouver Sun that Hall hopes to return to the market soon, and ticketholders would receive a full refund for the show based on their original form form of purchase.
