Third Side Music Expands International Creative Team And Names Stephen Christian, EVP Of Creative/A&R

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Independent music publishing creative powerhouse Third Side Music (TSM) is pleased to announce an expansion of its global creative team into the UK and Europe with the appointment of industry veteran Stephen Christian as its new Executive Vice President of Creative and A&R, International, based in London.

Reporting to Jeff Waye, COO/Co-founder of TSM, Christian will work alongside TSM’s longstanding LA-based Creative/A&R heads, Brontë Jane and Alex Kelman, to sign talent and foster creative opportunities around the world for TSM’s roster, which includes SOFI TUKKER, BadBadNotGood, Sky Ferreira, Surf Curse, and more.

Christian brings a breadth of experience to TSM, having worked in various roles in A&R and been a musical director, magazine editor, and consultant over the past two decades. Most notably, he served as Creative Director and Head of A&R at the iconic Warp Records, where he was instrumental in signing and developing artists such as Danny Brown, Mount Kimbie, Kelela, Yves Tumor, and Oneohtrix Point Never, to name a few. Christian has also helped foster extensive collaborations spanning a range of innovative artists, such as Wu-Tang Clan, Thom Yorke, Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, and Zero 7.

“I’m very grateful to be joining a crew of people motivated by their genuine devotion to creativity and a roster of supremely talented and visionary artists. Third Side is a really unique publisher, and I look forward to helping build the next chapter of this great international home for music,” said Christian.

“We’re really excited for Stephen to join the TSM team. I’m a longtime fan of his work at Warp on the label side in broadening out their brand musically. Looking forward to having that experience and deep contacts, in expanding out our international A&R roster and opening new opportunities for our current one,” said Waye.
